A Welsh weekend
So long since I wrote here that I feel the need to clear the dust off this place!
The truth is I feel all I’ve been doing lately is to drink. Perhaps I am turning English or perhaps I am turning alcoholic, dunno.
The fact is that this weekend I finally did something interesting & felt like coming here to report!
I take you know that I belong to a mountaineering club and last weekend I visited the club hut in Snowdon, North Wales and participated on a navigation course.
On Saturday we did some walking around while learning how to use compass, pace, time & navigation. We also did an evening navigation exercise which turned out to be quite fun.
On Sunday we climbed the Y Garn @ 946m. Lou & I descended while the rest of the group went for the Foel Goch @831m.
I finish this with a big thank you to Stephen & Steve who organised the meet & thanks to all who went on it for the lovely time. Below I leave some of my favorite shots.
